Une plongée dans l'inconnu avec avec des éléments déjà existants : c'est le paradoxe soulevé par Austin Wintory quand il évoque la bande-originale de The Banner Saga 2 d'autant plus que c'est la première fois qu'il compose pour une suite — et seul ce jeu vidéo a eu le droit à ce traitement de faveur. Pas de quoi avoir peur : elle est autant réussie que la première sinon plus. La pression est constante ("Under the Black Banner", "Threads Unweave"...) et les chants guerriers sont ensorcelants.

Austin Wintory has a lengthy discography rooted in both games and film and all of his releases have been amazing. I haven't played Erica but I've listened to this score dozens of times. It's emotive and brilliant in its composition.
